1992 Klein Rascal
The Klein Rascal was the little sibling to the Attitude and Adroit models, with a more conventional front end that offered a ride that was less rigid and less harsh. The Rascal was also more moderately priced, but did retain the horizontal dropouts of the upper models. This particular example is built with a mix of high end components, both new and old. Of particular note are the Mavic 231 rims with a ceramic coating, Bontrager rollercam fork, extensive use of titanium, and an ultra-rare TNT-modified freewheel. The freewheel is a Dura Ace 7 speed that has been drilled for weight savings and re-plated, with an additional small cog to get 8 speeds.
