1980 Ritchey Mountain Bikes
This mountain bike very likely started out as one of 100 frames built by Tom Ritchey for John Finley Scott, with a fork later built by John Padgett. At some point the bike had its damaged downtube replaced by Tom. The white paint and the slotted cable guides are indicative of the repair work. The bike features a saddle-seatpost combo made by Tom, which is one of very few made specifically for mountain bikes in the early years.
